"Thanks to bariatric surgeon for communication"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Gastroenterology (Stomach and Gut)

(as a service user),

I can now say thank you to the surgeon who phoned me after I posted on this site that I had received an appointment for a procedure without any discussion with me, or any indication who had requested it.

It seems administration services worked faster than expected. At least now i understand  that this is being done as a precautionary/investigative measure by the bariatric team in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Thank you to all concerned.

Dear Huatulco

Thanks for your recent post and pleased to hear that the conversation you had with the surgeon has been helpful in understanding the reasons for the investigations.

With kind regards
