Over 3 years ago I took unwell suddenly with stomach issues and been cared mainly at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness where I'm a resident within the NHS Highland catchment area.
Unfortunately the condition has taken over my life however I have the most amazing team caring for me which I am so grateful.
First of all my sincere thanks goes to Professor Bruce, He is simply amazing in my eyes. Yes there was a bit of decision making to be done but we got there!
2nd goes to his secretary Anne - she is a star. She kept me posted along the process and booked me in for surgery very quick.
The Admission Process was very easy and was pre-op assessed at Raigmore and then admitted to ARI Ward 301 early on Wednesday morning. I was first met by two lovely and amazing nurses Emma and Toni - Wow they were such lovely people. Nothing was a problem then met by a Locum Anaesthetist from Perth who was top notch such a friendly guy and he knew I was nervous so by the time I got down to theatre where luckily I was 1st on the list he had Gasonair ready to relax me and next thing I knew I was out of it and waking back up after the operation.
Today had three lovely nurses once again Rachel, Toni and Sara - Simply amazing.
Also met lovely junior doctors this afternoon who put a few worries of mine to ease.
Again I can't thank everyone enough and if you need any more in depth details then please contact me.
Thanks,
"Amazing care from an amazing team"
