"My recent admission to hospital"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was in the waiting room to be seen and started to have a seizure. I was there for an overactive heart rate once I was in resuss a lot was happening and no explanation of why it was being done. The A and E doctor was rude un compassionate and made me feel like I was horrible when I have a huge fear of needles. This person was saying I was going to die if they didn’t put the needle in I was already scared as it was and this made it worse

Dear rainkj95

I'm very sorry to hear that your experience with us wasn't positive and you felt we weren't sensitive to your needs.

Please could you contact our PALS team on this number 01823 343536 or this email

pals@tst.nhs.uk

By contacting them and providing more details such as real name and dates I can look into this further to try to ensure no one else feels like this. Also if I can look into this further hopefully I can reassure you so that if you need to come back to us again you will not feel so scared.

I hope you are recovering well.

regards

Louise
