I was sent from my Gp with a suspected PE yesterday to CAU. As a Staff MW I’m more than aware of the pressure staff are under to attend to patients. I was appalled at the behaviour of some of the patients surrounding me, their manner towards the staff who are working tirelessly to attend to sick patients and give them care and attention as they are pulled left right and centre. These visitors (who aren’t supposed to be in the unit) slated staff, community, the hospital itself, food, Medicine, bed capacity etc. It wasn’t nice to listen to.
On a brighter note, I would like to thank the staff in FVRH for the care and attention I received, although I was there for a good few hours, that’s what people need to expect, it’s a hospital after all , we need to start being so grateful for our NHS FOLKS!!!!
I was dealt with I felt so swiftly once my process begun, and everyone was so kind to me. So thank you CAU sir your brilliant work, you all work so hard, it’s such a busy place. I never heard 1 patient say anything nice in that waiting area while I was there, so a big shout out for you all!!
