"Radiology Department - outstanding service"

About: Horton General Hospital

I was extremely impressed with the service received from the Radiology department at the Horton General Hospital. When I called on Friday to re-arrange an appointment that had been made for me at the end of the month, I was surprised that they offered to bring it forward to the following day (Saturday). When I arrived, I was guided straight to where I need to be, asked to complete a couple of forms, taken straight through for a CT scan, advised that the results would be sent to my GP within a week. In total, I was in and out within 15 minutes and didn't even need to take time off work to attend the appointment. Brilliant administrative organisation and very efficient services and communication - well done NHS and thank you.
