"Treatment not yet available"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neurosurgery (Ward 64 – 66)

(as a service user),

I believe Erenumab was approved by the Scottish Medicines Consortium in April 2019 for the treatment of migraine, yet almost a year later I understand this treatment is still not available.   I want to know when will it be available to me from the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow?

Dear Jff,

Thank you for your feedback. I have discussed your post with the Clinical Services Manager Mr Graham Christie Clinical Services Manager for Neurology who has now secured the increased clinic capacity to run this service which he hope will commence in the next month.

Mr Christie would be happy for you to make contact with him as his team are keeping are keeping a database of patients who may be eligible. You can contact him via his secretary Julie Marshall on 0141 201 2833.

Kind Regards
