"Angioplasty on ward 6."

About: Good Hope Hospital / Cardiology Solihull Hospital / Cardiology

(as a service user),

I was well looked after and already feel better.   Staff are overworked, not enough nurses  but we got through it. Food was edible, I am vegetarian. Building needs work air conditioning on ward needs work, but it took 4 hours from discharge to obtain box of tablets. This meant I make extra work for nurses as I had a taxi ticking over outside. Surely this can be improved.   Whoever is in charge in admin does not seem to realize that some of us have to travel a long way when we are not well.   I. e. pre-op at Solihull and blood test at Good Hope.   All this could have been done locally.   At the end of the day iI still say "Thank goodness for the National Health".
