"All the staff at the in patients unit are very caring and supportive."

About: St Lukes Hospice

(as a service user),

I’m a cancer patient terminally ill. Cancer spread to all over the body & limited response to treatment. Symptoms were not under control and care of symptom control was taken over by hospice, as usual everyone is nervous to go to a new place.

I was bit nervous for the first couple of days and then settled well as all the staff at in patients unit are very caring, supportive, my medications were reviewed by a consultant/doctors. I hope to go home in a reasonable condition. If any problems the management aim to improve the service and make sure it’s happening asap.

Thank you for your feedback I am pleased your nerves were put at ease. We fully understand that coming to a new environment can be difficult our aim is to make this already difficult time as stress free as possible.

Thank you for the feedback regarding the staff being caring we aim to make everyone's experience here a positive one.
