Cancer diagnosis and follow up was handled brilliantly.Fear and anxiety had to be overcome. It was, by the time I was due to have the procedure.I met some beautiful people who attended to me with empathy, and care and skill. I thank the doctors and nurses, the trainees, the restaurant assistants, dear Miss Bramley and her team. I enjoyed meeting a doctor from Palestine, from India, , nurses from Africa. Chris who marched me up and down corridors telling me about her exotic holidays. After recovery I was given food and gentle skilful care. Every where was squeaky clean.
Now I am home with a blue breast and urine the colour of the Med, stripes of iodine blue under my arm , and an invading tumour removed, and awaiting the results of the biopsy. The journey continues with shadows and sunshine. It changes you somewhat.I am glad of that because I see so much goodness in people. Thank you all health care workers. What would we do without you?
