"Compassionate care"

About: Leverndale Hospital

(as a relative),

My stepdad was admitted to Balmore Ward in Leverndale Hospital and had been there for nearly 3 months for assessment. As a family we are so thankful for the respectful, caring and compassionate way that he has been treated.

Thank you to SCN Stephen Conlon and his team and Dr Sarah Ward for the amazing care and communication.

It has made a very distressing time for us all a bit easier.

Dear Mrs stark

Thank you so much for posting your kind comments on Care Opinion. It can be a very anxious time for family members and relatives when someone close to them is under assessment. I am so glad that my colleagues made it a bit easier for you all. Sometimes it is the most simple of steps of showing compassion and communicating with relatives /family that makes all the difference and this has clearly been the case. Please be assured that I shall pass on your kind words to all staff involved.

I hope that all is well with your stepdad and that you as a family have found comfort in the care that he received.

Very best wishes

Sheila
