"The Trust stopped offering the service"

About: King's Mill Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as a service user),

I contacted ENT appointments line to find out if my appointment with the specialist nurse had been finally arranged after being cancelled x3 times and was told -we dont do it anymore you have to go private.

I contacted’The private clinic’ and was told its was £115 per ear that is absolutely outrageous all non NHS registered ear suction facility’s charge around £50 currently and it wouldn’t be a surprise if they didn’t immediately raise there prices to be just below the Sherwood Hospital Trust recommendation clinic from whom I expect they get a kickback commission.

in addition its been said that hearing lose is a non emergency condition and as such is the reason for the NHS Trust to stop offering the service I wonder if the decision makers know whats its like for the sufferers.

in my view doctors seem to be off loading and appear to have forgotten the oath they undertook when qualifying
