I have recently had a dental operation out of Royal Stoke Hospital Ward 105.
It was supposed to be an awkward job, hence the hospital referral. I was pretty apprehensive, having had a wisdom tooth extracted some years ago. On that occasion I was in a lot of pain afterwards, and could not open my mouth to eat for quite some time. I need not have worried. Not only was I totally unaware of anything that happened in the theatre, but I have had hardly any pain afterwards, I wish I could thank the surgeon personally for his wonderfully neat and competent job.
It's a little miracle, and he is BRILLIANT.
sadly, I didn't write down his name.
Yes, I had to wait a while, before going down to theatre, but realistically, I am not the only patient.
Well done Ward 105. Clearly much has changed in 5 years!
Thanks.
