"My daughter needed her first ever blood test"

My 5yr old needed to have a fasting blood test done. She's never had one done before so was very nervous about going.

The staff made her feel extremely comfortable by taking her mind off it by giving her a book to look at whilst they did the blood test. 

She didn't like it and it did hurt her a little but she was brave. 

After we left she kept saying how much she liked the nurses that were in the room with us. 

She was then given some crayons, a spot the difference book and a sticker for being brave. 

As you can imagine she left feeling extremely happy about the whole experience.
