"My sons Day Surgery"

My son attended hospital for a scope in Day Surgery. He was anxious about it but from the moment we arrived at Hospital the staff were wonderful. From meeting a volunteer at the reception desk who directed us to Day Surgery, then arriving at Day Surgery the whole day went so smoothly. The nurse who initially clerked him in, explaining the procedure & checking his details, then a doctor giving details of the procedure, to the anesthetist confirming what they will do, then onto meeting the surgeon and signing consent, the whole process was informative and reassuring. Then after the procedure, the nursing staff were wonderful.   They looked after my son so well, reassuring him &   myself and nothing was too much trouble.   He was up and mobile soon after, eating well and ready for discharge home within their expected time frame. From start to finish the staff were amazing, their care and professionalism was so reassuring and made the whole experience less anxious and worrying. Huge thank you to all staff concerned.
