"Shown care.."

About: Grenoside Grange

(as a relative),

My husband was admitted to Grenoside Grange in July 2019 from hospital on a section 2 of the mental capacity act.

From initial admission to date my husband was shown care, compassion and respect.  He was treated with dignity in a calm, friendly atmosphere.

Friends and family were always welcomed and provided with support when needed.

The staff seemed highly motivated and professional in creating a comfortable, safe environment.  I was regularly kept informed of my husbands medical condition.

I would have liked more 'formal meetings' and written notes.

I am so pleased to hear that your husband was treated with dignity & respect and that you and your friends & family always felt welcome. We always strive to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere on G1 and pride ourselves on giving compassion & support to both our patients and their loved ones.

Thank you also for your suggestions. We are currently working on how to improve communication for carers.
