"Excellent service at the Spinal Clinic"

In December I contacted the Musculoskeletal Service by email for some advice as my GP advised me to attend the Spinal Clinic following recurring back injuries. The help and advice I received was excellent. I attended the Rawtenstall Spinal Clinic at the beginning of January and the waiting room was already virtually full within five minutes of opening.

My details were assessed and I was allocated an appointment later that same day with one of the senior physiotherapists. During that first session I was put at ease and dealt with in a friendly and professional manner. I was given exercises to help improve flexibility before my next session. The second session at the beginning of February included some more exercises to improve strength and also a referral to the SpineFit classes.

I had never heard of the Spinal Clinic before but what a fantastic facility it is for those that need it. The whole process from arriving at reception to being seen was friendly and professional. One of the team who I think deals with the assessments even noticed that my Husband had been waiting a long time and went over to check that he was being dealt with.

From initial contact to date, my experience of the Spinal Clinic has been excellent. Thank you.
