"Problems with medication"

About: Auchinlea Resource Centre

(as the patient),

Have had suicidal thoughts for years now made many attempts to carry this out. recently been in hospital, now out.  hospital really did help me through my moods. once outside dealing with crisis team and doctor at auchinlea at easterhouse has put me back.  had problem understanding my medication for my heart and mental health crisis team came to my house. I explained to them my concerns and I was told me to get rid of all my medication and that there will be a new prescription waiting for me at my doctors.  it wasn’t there.  I picked this up 5 days later when I had appointment with doctor at auchinlea told the doctor what the crisis team advised me, to get rid of all medication including my heart pills and which I did.  Doctor was bemused I asked what the medication I was being given was and was told 40mg of citalipram and 10 sleeping tablets which on my previous visit we discussed.  picked up my prescription to find only citalopram was there no heart pills no sleeping tablets. when I phone them to ask what is happening they didn’t bother to phone me back I now have to order new prescription for my heart pills.  It feels pointless phoning auchinlea for answers as it feels like they don’t want to know. tryed that day 4 or 5 times then phoned crisis team up waste of time they didn’t want to no whatever happens happens 😠
