"Ruined the perception of NHS services in the UK."

Hi,

I used to have a very high opinion of nhs services and GP practices in the UK till I had the misfortune of having being registered to St Luke Medical Centre (The Ruiz Medical centre). I currently suffer from a severely hoarse and soar throat with discharge of blood sputum in the morning. I have been trying to call the gp every day since the past 5 weeks and no answer!

I now understand why so many people are so unhappy about this particular practice and how this affects the overall perception of nhs services due to such poor services.

I would like to hear from you about what are you going to do about this as St Luke's has got so many poor reviews and I dont know how is all this being monitored and regulated.

Dear Patient,

Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with us. We are surprised that you were unable to get through to us for five weeks as this is the first time we have heard of this. Please be assured that our staffs are always at the telephone line answering calls but this can take a lot of time as we do receive a high volume of calls. We also offer online appointments that can be booked via patient access so that patients can avoid the waiting time on the phone and book online.
