"Car parking fine"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

(as a service user),

I parked my car at the hospital whilst I was visiting a relative who had been in Intensive care unit and then moved to a ward. I went every day for 3 weeks, once or twice a day always put a ticket one my car. Imagine my surprise six weeks later I received a parking ticket saying that I had no valid ticket on my car and one of the days. And that I had a parking fine of £87 because I have not paid it within the 14 days Or put in an appeal.

I threw all my tickets out so now I have no proof.  When I saw the photographs you can clearly see my ticket but I still got the fine. But there was no parking ticket on my windscreen when I got back to my car so how would have known I had a fine and if I had seen it I could of showed them my ticket at the time. I tried to appeal but was told because the parking ticket was put on my car it didn’t matter I had to pay the fine otherwise we’re going to take the matter further. It is absolutely disgusting giving someone a parking ticket and still making them pay when they can clearly see on the picture that I paid. I want to know what happened to the parking ticket that was on my car and if this has happened to anybody else. Not happy with the R D and E hospital parking service.
