"Waste of time "

Called 111 as My daughter was unable to keep any food or liquid down.

The call handler asked her if she was doing usual things, she said she has had the tv on to keep her company, but slept the whole day - the handler said so you are watching tv, my daughter told her 3 times she wasn’t. The handler then told her that she didn’t like her tone, my daughter is pregnant.

Finally she got an appointment, then only to have a nurse call and tell her it’s a mild gastrointestinal bug. How does she know? Also telling my daughter she isn’t dehydrated.

She cancelled the appointment.

My daughter has woken today and can not move. Keeps falling asleep and can’t stomach solids. I’ve called the practice, I’m no medical professional but she’s dehydrated quite clearly.
