(as the patient),

I’ve had to call upon the services of my local A& E department several times over the last few years. I’ve been very pleased every time with the treatment and support I received. Of course it’s important to raise concerns and seek to address them, but it’s also important to give credit where it’s due. I’m very grateful for the help I’ve received from the A& E department at Crosshouse hospital over the years. Thank you.

What a lovely post to land in my inbox this morning. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I am really pleased to hear you have always been pleased with the help and support provided over the years.

Winter has been particularly difficult for our staff this year with a very busy and full department. This will definitely help to boost staff morale. I hope you don't need to call on our services in 2020 but if you do our team will always be there for you.
