To everyone that looked after me on Eliot ward (Jan 2020). I thank you dearly for my care, your kindness, patience and understanding.
I was moved to four different wards during my stay at Northwick Hospital. Eliot ward was my third move out of the four. I found this ward unique in the whole way it was run. The ward was extremely efficient, the nurses appeared happy in their work, always smiling and friendly to patients and also towards each other. The staff spoke respectably to their patients and certainly showed kindness/compassion with extra care shown to the vulnerable elderly.
I sat and observed this ward run like a well oiled machine; making the handover operation in the morning and evening glide like clockwork.
I must also add the staff looked clean and well groomed.
They also kept the patients and the whole ward clean and hygienic. Being in other wards really gave me an even greater appreciation for Eliot ward.
The staff on this ward are hardworking, joyful, well groomed, nothing too much bother to help.
I can't praise Eliot ward enough. You are all a credit to the NHS.
Thank you.
Ps. I think the ward manager (sorry don't know your name, but would like too) deserves extra praise because as we know a great ward would only operate this well with good guidance and direction from the top which filters down to the bottom.
(Where can I sign to get you all a well deserved pay rise!!)
"My great care"
