About: Croydon University Hospital / Maxillo-Facial surgery

(as a service user),

So I went to Croydon university hospital a couple of days ago to see the dentist and they were sick coughing sneezing and so I'm sure I must have caught a virus from them. This is so un professional if you’re sick and have cold and flue don’t come to work and find some alternative. I’m sick since then. 

Not being rude but The nurse were smelling so so bad I couldn’t even breath when they were around. This is very un hygienic. Overall very bad experience

This is not the experience that we wish our patients to receive – I am so sorry to hear that our service did not meet with your expectations.

With regard to the coughing and sneezing, all of the clinical team wear personal protective equipment so a mask is worn at all times, this prevents any transmission of germs from one person to another.

I can give you my assurance that no member of our clinical team would be at work if they were no well enough to be there.
