"Minor day surgery procedure"

I was in Day Surgery for a minor day surgery procedure.

I was very anxious about the general anaesthetic and the operation in itself.

From the moment I walked in to the day surgery unit the staff were welcoming and made me feel at ease.

The Anaesthetist Nick met me at first and gave me lots of reassurance regarding the general Anaesthetic which made me feel much better. He was very kind and caring and wanted to do everything he could to alleviate my anxieties. 

Mr Banigo the Surgeon also met with myself and went back over the discussions wed had in clinic. He was equally polite, professional and ensured I had all the information I required. I had a few questions and he answered them with no problems.

The staff nurses and all the team within the day surgery unit were lovely and caring. Chatting and ensuring i was comfortable etc before and after the op. Nothing was a bother to them. 

All of the team are a credit to our NHS. Cant thank them all enough.
