I went to A&E with an anal abscess, and I had a letter from my GP to have the abscess cut out and that should be the end of it.
Far from it. I had junior doctors lacking backbone and another making every excuse under the sun not to do the procedure. I was told to go home and slap some ice on it. The abscess went down and came back again, anyone surprised, well I wasn't.
I feel the waiting times are abysmal too.
