Admitted to Gynaecology Unit at Glasgow Queen Elizabeth University Hospital at 7.30am under the care of Dr Datsun and her staff. From that minute through to anaesthetic room and transfer to Ward 49 I was constantly reassured and kept up to date with all of my care by fantastic staff. If they had been short staffed ( which I am sure they would have been) at no time was this made obvious to myself. They responded to myself and other patients in the room with respect at all times of day and night. I was asked at Pre-assessment clinic what my expectiions of nursing staff were and my reply was if you do your job then I will do mine. You all went above and beyond your job description. My recovery has been amazingly easy thanks to Dr Datsun, her team of Doctors, Nursing Staff, and Domestic Staff.
