I had the most amazing experience with the team. Gina and Colette gave me the strength I needed to go back to my doctors and get the treatment I needed when I had thrush. They listened to me and understood when my doctor’s surgery didn’t. My only regret is I didn’t use the service with my first baby and had an awful experience (failing to get help from my doctors for the same issue, I had to give up before I was ready which triggered PND). Any funding this service gets is an investment to the NHS. I can’t put into words how amazing it is that we have this team.

Thank you for taking the time to let me know about your experience with the Breast Feeding Support team. I agree they are amazing and I will let Gina and Colette know about your feedback. Supporting breast feeding is so important for mums, babies and the wider family. You are correct as it is an investment for the NHS as it promotes future health and wellbeing.
