"Care like no other"

About: Walton Heath Manor

My grandmother unfortunately became severely ill and unable to move very much at all following a stroke and so became a resident here. I cannot fault the care that was given throughout her time here (carers who took the time to get to know her, to talk to her, to get to know those of us who came to visit regularly). She had a well organised multi disciplinary team of care which im sure extended her life.

Most impressively though were the two occasions on which Walton Manor went above and beyond. The first being my fathers wedding where they helped us to organise getting her ready and travelling over an hour to where the wedding was taking place all so she could be part of the day. It is one memory we ALL treasure. The second was during her end of life care. Unfortunately this time is obviously traumatic and sad but Walton Manor helped every moment - even provided us mattresses to sleep on the floor with her when we werent comfortable to leave her and food when we couldn't go anywhere else for too long. They helped us ensure that we had all said our goodbyes and were brilliant at organising her final days of care.

I honestly cannot recommend this home enough.
