(as the patient),

In the early hours of the morning of  the 9th of January, I had what I thought was an episode of Angina. Ambulance was called and the paramedic arrived within minutes, followed immediately by the ambulance crew. Very impressive I must say.

Admission was quite slick considering how busy the place was.Very organised chaos to say the least. Done and dusted in no time.

Now off upstairs to ward 4A

This is where the fun begins. The staff were absolutely tremendous, I won't name names as that would be unfair but the staff will know who they are. Nothing was a problem except me misbehaving making them laugh. It must have been the happiest ward in the building.

However, time to change wards, along the corridor to ward 4B, that move too went like clockwork. After a day's wait for an MRI scan, after which I was discharged

Incidentally, it turned out it was not an angina attack. Thanks to Mr Ray and his colleagues to whom I'm very grateful.

Only one thing, the wait for the MRI scan.

Wards 4A and B are amazing aren't they? They say laughter is the best medicine so I'm pleased you were able to spread some laughter during your stay with us.
