"St Mary’s Sexual Health Clinic"

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

I rung up to arrange an appointment as I have minor symptoms. As I am currently NFA, they refused to see me and referred me to the local A&E which is an inappropriate referral.

Having then spoken to 111, the local A&E department and walk-in. centres, I rung back to confirm I did need an urgent appointment. They again, refused to see me. I pointed that I’m away for 4 weeks, and will be continuing to be sexual active. They then threatened legal action, that the phone call was recorded and criminal charges would be brought against me if I had sex knowing I have an STI. I then pointed out I don’t know if I have an STI, it could be a UTI or anything and the reason I don’t know is because they are refusing me treatment.

As an NHS employee this has been horrendous service from start to finish, would never wish this upon any patient.
