"Its made a difference"

About: Six Degrees Social Enterprise (CIC) / Greater Manchester Bereavement Service

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I contacted the service after I had unfortunately been bereaved by suicide. I felt I could open up and tell them exactly how I had been feeling, I didnt know what to expect to be honest but I have to say its been the best thing I have done contacting SBIS, they put me in touch with a local 1-1 therapy.

After having the therapy just a few times I started to feel I could cope that little bit more than I was. SBIS offered me a follow up call to see how I had been getting on a few months after out initial contact to which I said "I am bearing up ok"

I would definitely recommend this service if they have been affected by suicide.

I must added that I really appreciated the follow up call just to see how I am getting on and made to feel I can call back anytime if I feel I need support in the future.
