"What a fantastic service and team!"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Maternity care

(as a service user),

In late 2019 I was seen in EPAS with abdominal pain and vomiting. I ended up feeling faint in the corridor and collapsing. The prompt actions from all the staff was nothing short of amazing. They put me at ease and comforted me when I was upset and scared. I was promptly scanned and taken to theatre but during my short time in the department I could not have been better looked after.

What a fantastic service and a fantastic team!

Dear EPAS Patient

Thank you so much for sharing your experience of using our service. I will share your feedback with the staff as they always appreciate it when patients provide feedback.

I am so glad that the staff acted promptly at what must have been a scary and anxious time for you.

It is reassuring to know that the staff were also able to put you at ease.

I hope you are feeling better and looking forward to the year ahead.

Regards

Frances
