"Staff are fantastic and explained everything"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Stroke Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a service user),

My husband was admitted to the stroke unit in December, we could not fault anything about this ward, the staff are fantastic and explained everything that was going on with my husband, they were so helpful even though they were busy. We cant thank you enough. Also the ambulance crew I think the mans name was John or David, they were amazing, could not do enough for my husband again we were explained everything they were doing nothing was a problem to them

I'm really pleased to hear that both you and your husband received such good care at what I am sure must have been an extremely worrying time for you.

I will ensure that your comments are shared with SCN Paterson and the remainder of the nursing and MDT team within stroke and I know they will be delighted re your positive feedback.

I am sorry to hear of your husband falling unwell and being admitted to the stroke unit in December. I do hope your husband is continuing to make a good recovery.

Thank you for passing on your feedback re the care received from the ambulance crew who attended to you and from the unit staff whilst in hospital.

Great to hear that it was helpful and reassuring for the crew to ensure they were taking the time to explain everything they were doing to care for your husband at the time.

I would like to pass on your feedback to the ambulance crew who attended. To assist, would it be possible to call our administration team on 01224 812200 to provide some further detail as to the original ambulance call so we can identify the crew?
