About: University Hospital Wishaw / Care of the Elderly (Wards 9-12)

(as a relative),

My mother was admitted to WGH (university hospital) in November 2019. Since being admitted to ward 12 she has been nursed and cared for by an excellent team of doctors and nurses, the nurses work in teams to provide comfort and care to the patients in this unit, I'd like to name some of the team and thank them all for the care and attention given to my mum so here goes, Joanne Scanlon, Abbie, Tamara, Cheryl, April, Fay, Laura, Andrea, Jessica, Angela, Lorna, Kerry, Jackie, Helen and all the team that put in such hard work.

Thank you for posting such a lovely post regarding the care delivered by the ward 12 staff. We aim to provide a high standard of care at all times, but it is reassuring when patients /relatives acknowledge this and inform of us of the excellent care and compassion being delivered on a daily basis.
