I've been sectioned for the last 3 years and am soon to be discharged. It's been a long road and I've gone through numerous advocates but my current advocate, Susan, has been one of the best advocates I've ever met. She's been patient and understanding with me and has always fought for me to get what I need. I am so grateful and I would not have been able to go through all the meetings without her. Because I have autism, meetings are incredibly stressful and I can't speak in them at all. But Su was patient and went through everything slowly with me so she knew exactly what I needed her to say on my behalf. I will never forget the amazing contribution she has made to my life and I am so thankful! THANK YOU, SU!!!
