A phone call advising that if we would like our hospital appointment brought forward that was no problem. We chose to accept
The receptionist at booking area for outpatients was helpful, informative but more importantly friendly. We had a wee laugh with her and we shook hands to say a belated Happy New Year. My partner actually thought we knew each that’s how much this person helps people
We then quickly had our appointment with one of the doctors. He was friendly, informative and honest. He explained options and we believe we all signed up for the most realistic sensible way forward. And again more importantly we had a bit of banter that can put people at their ease
I know this may not seem much to patients on a harder journey than ours but sometimes it’s the smaller things that get us through the life journey
