"They heard every word of my consultation"

Patients are called from waiting area 5 and sit outside the nurses station room, which is also outside 3 small consultation rooms. The last time is attended an appointment there were people seated there and when I came out, they told me that they had heard every word of my consultation. I was very embarrassed as I suffer with psoriasis on my arms, legs and bottom. They thought it was funny that they could hear. What happened to dignity and respect for patients being seen. Either the consultation rooms need soundproofing or do not allow patients to sit right outside the rooms. My most recent visit this week, I whispered and told the Nurse why I was whispering. Im afraid I find this situation completely unacceptable. Your comments and proposed actions would be gratefully received. Thank you.
