"A life changing experience"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / New Forest

(as a service user),

This has been a life changing experience. It enabled me to understand addiction in myself and in others. I learned the courses and the tools which have led me to abstinence (after 30 yrs of alcoholic drinking) and which, I hope, will enable me to maintain that condition to the end of my life.

Besides being of immense practical value it was also hugely enjoyable, and all the better for that. The key to the desired outcome is having the right people to guide you. Here I cannot praise too highly my keyworker Tina and most particularly my group recovery worker Jason who brought intellect, emotional intelligence, practical (and personal) experience, immense patience, charm and a wonderful sense of humour to the process. I cannot thank him too much and will never forget him. I go forward with hope and knowing that whatever happens, I have been equipped to deal with it.
