"Out Of Hours Appointment"

About: East Lothian Community Hospital / General Medicine NHS 24 / NHS 24 (111 service)

(as a service user),

I have been visiting family over the festive period and became quite unwell. I had given it some time then decided that it was best to call NHS 24 and was seen later that day at East Lothian Community Hospital. I really can't fault the care given during my visit. Nurse Audrey made me feel at ease and had good sense of humour aswell. It was a bit scary being so far away from home, not knowing what was wrong and what might happen but I was always made to feel at ease. I was given something to help the cramps and sickness and was sent home with some anti sickness tablets aswell. I really can not fault the care I received, just top notch.

I am sorry to hear that you were unwell whilst visiting family and you had to call NHS 24. I hope you are now feeling better and recovering well.
