(as a relative),

My mum had a mini stroke and got an emergency appointment within 2days of seeing the GP. She attended the TIA clinic. The service that was provided was exceptional. The appointment took 3 hours but that involved getting Blood pressure. Brain scan, Doppler, bloods ECG and finding out the results at the end. She was started on medication given a prescription to take to the GP. All the nurses, doctor and the other members of the NHS team were so nice to my mum. This was appreciated as she suffers from anxiety and she had to stay calm at such a worrying time. Thankyou to all the staff and the service the TIA clinic provides.
