A Thank You To All On Frederick Salmon Ward South

I have been a hospital inpatient, through many of my years,

Quite often being seriously ill, anxious, worried, scared, in tears,

I've stayed in some good hospitals, but sadly others have been bad,

Which has left me feeling down & upset, very disillusioned & so sad.

But all of the staff I have met here, on this my latest time around,

Have left me feeling secure, relaxed, & extremely safe & sound,

And all of the staff on Fredrick Salmon South, you’re all second to none,

You have lifted up my darkest cloud, and brought out the brightest sun.

The treatment you have given me, has always been tender & kind,

And caring people just like you, I know are often so hard to find,

You treat each & every patient, with such compassion & with care,

And a lovely ward of staff like you, could never be found elsewhere.

So to all of the staff that I've met here, & I do mean everyone & all,

I could've bought you all some flowers, but there petals would soon fall,

If I had gotten you all chocolate's, then they would soon be gone, all eaten,

But I hope these words won’t be forgotten, & I hope they cannot be beaten.

Now after this latest of hospital visits, and after many a hospital stay,

I find these words to you from in my heart, would be much easier to say,

You may not always feel that you are loved, or get your fair appreciation,

But this massive "THANK YOU" from me to you, comes without any hesitation.

So please keep up the great work you do, through thick & through the thin,

You always face your daily chores & battles, with a huge smile & big grin,

The tireless help you continually give, each patient every single day,

Makes them all so thankful & so grateful, even if those words they never say.

A personal thank you to all of the staff on Frederick Salmon Ward South.

From the Doctors, Matrons, Sisters. Nurses, Catering Staff & Cleaners. I'd like to thank each & every one of you so much for the kind treatment, care, patience, understanding & willingness to help at every opportunity, throughout my entire stay in hospital. Without your tireless, thankless & continual help, effort, support & kindness, then not only this ward, but the entire hospital wouldn't be the pleasant place that you've made it into.

So please never give up your good work.....
