"Pleasant experience given the circumstances.."

(as the patient),

I had an appointment today as a result of a possible mini stroke on last Sunday.

I met several nurses who were very pleasant and helpful and explained what would happen.  Then I saw the Doctor, I do not remember his name, but he treated me with courtesy and good humour and put me at ease.  Next I had an MRI scan and again I was treated very pleasantly by the Radiographer and nurses.

Also the receptionist in the Xray department was very efficient and helpful.

Altogether my experience was as pleasant as it could possibly have been given the circumstance.

Thank you Pariad for taking the time to give us your feedback which is so important to us. I will share your kind comments with the nursing team and doctor involved in your care during this outpatient appointment.

We appreciate, particularly in this type of clinic, the feeling of anxiety following the event and the subsequent fast track appointment, and the impact on both the patient and other family members, and the staff aim to ensure that they provide good support, information and empathy for all those affected.
