"Not all superheroes wear capes"

About: University Hospital Monklands / General Surgery (Wards 4 & 7)

(as the patient),

I was in and out of Monklands Hospital a good few times over the summer of 2018. I eventually had to have emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder.

I would just like to show my gratitude towards all of the staff down in recovery in theatre. All staff were professional at all times, with a caring bedside manner which kept me at ease throughout my experience. You all went above and beyond and I couldn’t be more grateful!!! Keep doing what you are doing, you are all awesome!!! As they say... not all superheroes wear capes!!!

All my love

Dear RH89

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such positive feedback on your experience of the recovery team at University Hospital Monklands. I will be delighted to share this with the team and I am sure it will give them a real boost to know how you felt about the care they provided for you.

I am sure they will join me in hoping that your recovery has been straightforward and that you are back to full health.

With very best wishes for 2020!

Nichola
