I had planned C section last week at RAH Paisley Maternity. The care I received during my pregnancy was exceptional. I personally would like to thank Dr Thomson, for being an excellent consultant with great interpersonal skills and being banterous in times when I needed it, including peri operative.
The midwifes within the wards work tirelessly, especially on the night shift. Special mention to Linda. What a midwife, very lovely lady. I felt they never stopped yet, had time to be compassionate and caring.
The added bonus was having maternity care assistant whom helped check my babies blood sugars but also help myself with breast freeding. Special mention to bernie and Carol. I feel however, the wards could do with more of them.
Excellent care given in a busy busy maternity unit. I never fully appreciated how busy the place can actually get.
