I was referred to the Opthamology department at East SurreyHospital on 3rd December, following an eye test. I was due to have the dilating pupil drops put in , as it was felt I had Glaucoma. It was found that the pressure in my left eye was extremely high , and was slightly raised in my right eye . Almost Immediately I was taken to a side room , given eye drops and IV medicine to lower the pressure. All the staff were extremely caring and put me at ease. A bit later on I was having both my eyes lasered by my doctor and I didn’t feel a thing . I had a follow up appointment on the 5th December . I also had one on the 10 th December where my pressure had crept up again . Once again the situation was dealt with extremely quickly with more IV drugs and eye drops .I have to attend on 13th December either for more extensive lasering , or surgery to remove the lens in my left eye. The care I have received on all visits has been first class , and my dr is a true professional.
