"X -Ray department that doesnt know there..."

About: Saffron Walden Community Hospital

Got a form from my GP informing me about the opening times and what number to ring for saffron walden hospital but when I telephoned them they said the last appointment was 15mins earlier then the form I had and the persons that asked the telephone told me she was in charge and that was that, but when I asked her who was her boss she gave me the general number for the x-ray department at addenbrookes ( number 11 in line on the telephone) but I then found the lady that she had said was her boss 2days later and she very kindly telephone me back and said yes I could make an appointment at 4.45pm and once again telephone saffron walden x-ray department and could get me in again is this an x-ray department that patients can use or not ?. In my view a troubled service .
