"Amazing Nurse on Gillies Ward"

Rachael, a staff nurse on Gillies Ward is a shining example of what a good nurse is. She is always so cheerful and will always go our of her way to be helpful. Even when the ward seems incredibly busy, she is still smiling, keeping busy but never too busy to help anyone who needs it. She seems to be an amazing team player and appears to be very knowledgeable and share this knowledge and experience with her colleagues. She remembers many details about me from my previous admissions so always helps me to feel valued and accepted even though there was about a month between my admissions. I always feel safe and reassured when I see her come on shift as I know that no matter what, or how busy the ward may be, I can still speak to her about my worries or have questions answered. She is always prompt with PRN pain relief so that things never social out of control. 

Rachael, you really are a shining star and Gillies are so lucky to have you. You are a phenomenal nurse and seem to relate to all patients both younger and older, show no clear favouritism for patients and treat everyone as individuals with care, respect and dignity. thank you so much for all that you do!!! You should be very proud of yourself. I wish I was half the nurse that you are!!
