"Sustaining ankle injury"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres

(as the patient),

Exactly a year ago I sustained a fractured ankle after slipping on black ice and had to have a mecanno set fitted for Christmas.   This compromised me greatly with mobility, independence, physically and emotionally.

Thank you for all the care to improve my mobility.

The dept and oohrs staff were all very helpful.  One of the best departments within the hospital.

I think it it equally important to highlight positives.

Hopefully I will walk my dog again.
