"TMJ Self-Referral Physiotherapy"

About: North Manchester General Hospital

I self referred myself to the physiotherapy service at this hospital after ongoing soreness and unpleasant symptoms related to TMJ/TMD. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the hospital contained physiotherapists trained in this condition. My assigned therapist was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me, and always had a smile on her face which would lift my mood. I was discharged from services today after a few months of appointments in which I received light jaw manipulation exercises and home exercises to do myself in which my jaw is moving much more fluidly and painlessly. I am very pleased with the service I received!
