My young daughter had to attend A and E due to a suspected ear infection which was serious due to the autoimmune drugs she is taking for other conditions. We were seen initially within 20 mins for assessment by an incredible nurse who was immensely kind, and patient especially with a tricky young child who was in pain.

But also me. She gave great advice and although we had a lengthy 5 hour wait which wasn’t easy  it was bearable thanks to the reassurance she gave. It is very very busy on Sunday afternoon and I don’t know how she did it.

Dear Jnm2019, thanks so much for posting your comments about your daughter's care in the A&E at the PRUH. Great to hear that the nurse was so professional and supported and was able to provide good advice and reassurance - so important when you are waiting and also worried.
